My eldest son (he’s three) has a lot of books already. Many of them are about knights and dragons and castles and heroic quests. He absolutely loves knights (he loves pirates and builders too, but that’s another story)!
So yesterday, I took him to a medieval fair so he could see some ‘real’ knights. His eyes were gleaming when I told him we would go!
We had a lot of fun, and he almost managed to dare a knight and a viking berserk (or is it berserker viking?) to a duel, but thankfully for the two, the “peace of the market” prevailed and they lived.
Good for me as I then could snap a picture of the knight (and steal his soul in the process *evil grin*).
Sadly, we didn’t see any dragons.
